The collection of 30 five-minute plays gathered here have been created and performed by Palestinian children. By turns heart- warming and heart-wrenching, they touch on issues of day to day life such as the occupation, the blockade of Gaza, the human rights violations and the shortages of electricity and other basic needs, but they are also a celebration of Palestine’s rich culture and huge creativity.

Born of a spirit of surprising positivity in the face of adversity, these plays provide a fascinating insight into the world as viewed through the eyes of Palestinian children, but at the same time there remains something very universal about the human themes explored.
