Art from Rubble | Daily Update — Nada
Because I deeply believe in the power of art as a tool for healing and resilience, today’s Art from Rubble session was different. This time, the activities were not with children, but with the Civil Defense personnel in the Gaza Strip.
It was a truly meaningful and emotional day spent with the real soldiers of humanity — the men who have worked tirelessly, day and night, to save innocent lives throughout the recent war on Gaza. Through art, we created a space for reflection, expression, and a moment of calm away from the weight of their daily responsibilities.
These moments reminded us that art is not only for creativity, but also for healing, solidarity, and honoring those who continue to give everything to protect others. Seeing their engagement, openness, and smiles reinforced why Art from Rubble exists — to transform pain into expression and hope, even in the hardest circumstances.
