Daily update from Nada | Art from Rubble 🎨🏚️

I believe art isn’t limited to colors alone.

Through Art from Rubble, I held a warm, love-filled therapeutic session with my creative students, aged 7–18 πŸ‘©β€πŸŽ¨πŸ§‘β€πŸŽ¨

In this session, the students expressed their emotional and psychological states by drawing their feelings and writing short, heartfelt reflections. Together, we also created a collective artwork that blends innocence with pain β€οΈβ€πŸ©Ή

Inspired by my lifelong love for Disney and the idea of a hopeful ending, I embodied Rapunzelβ€”her golden hair becoming a symbol of inner light, saving her from darkness. Perhaps, in the end, that inner light is all we have to survive πŸ’«

This activity helped both my students and me reclaim a sense of hopeβ€”and reminded us that we can still create art from amidst the rubble πŸ™

This work is part of the Art from Rubble project, supported by The Hands Up Project.

⚠️ Please browse the artworks with their descriptions in both Arabic and English.
