ππ¨ Daily update from Nada β Art from Rubble π΅πΈ
Beneath the shade of the olive tree, a timeless symbol of Palestinian resilience and steadfastness, we shared a beautiful session with children titled βFrom Memory.β π΅πΈ
As part of the activities of the βArt from Rubbleβ project, sponsored by The Hands Up Project, I spoke with the children about the Palestinian Nakba and the story that continues to live in our collective memory from one generation to the next.
Together, we explored art and colors as the children learned how to draw the map of Palestine, olive leaves, and the Palestinian flag. I also shared a variety of artworks and drawing examples to inspire them and encourage them to express their thoughts and emotions freely.
It was a truly beautiful time filled with childrenβs laughter, innocent questions, and young hearts that carry Palestine naturally within them. β€οΈ
Art will always remain a space for memory and for telling a story that will never die.
