Artist Nada Rajab continues transforming pain into art and rubble into a message.

In a scene that brings together my vision in the Art from Rubble project, “Transforming Pain into Art and Rubble into a Message,” which is based on extracting materials from beneath the rubble and transforming them into a suitable medium for practicing art.

I depict a scene that tore my heart apart in the news headlines a few days ago, the killing of the children of my city, on a piece of fabric that I recovered from the rubble, which was once part of a curtain from one of the windows of the destroyed homes, accompanied by very deep feelings of sadness about what is happening today in my city.

The claim of a ceasefire was merely an illusion to the world that the genocide had stopped!

What everyone must know is that the genocide, the killing, the displacement, and the suffering are still continuing in the Gaza Strip to this day!
